Rats and Roaches is a fan update expanding on the porch area and everything that could and should be there.
Overall Changes:
The Porch has more nails
The ghost textures (window and plant) are now solid objects you can go up to
The porch now has an infected area when you plug the haze
There is a silly wolf spider named jake
Creatures:
Daddy long legs
Daddy long legs are neutral creatures that spawn in the corners of the porch, if you try to go near them they will lift their front legs up at you however they will not attack, rather wait for you to back away or it will back away itself. DLL's will attack you if you hit them or break their webs and run will bite you, their perfect blocks are very easy. You are able to tame DLL's by feeding them Ladybug parts, Ladybird shells, or Rolly Polly parts. Each part has a different chance to tame the DDL:
Ladybug parts: 25%
Ladybird Parts: 50%
Rolly Polly parts: 75%
Upon taming them you are able to put a new pupa saddle (Crafted with 1 silverfish shell and 5 pupa hide) and ride them around the yard, they are able to climb up steep surfaces but not walls.
If you kill them, they will drop parts and their head, these items can be used for things discussed further down the post.
Daddy long legs are resistant to nothing, but are weak to Spicy and Bitter (Bitter is explained further down the post)

Female co*ckroach
The Female co*ckroach is a hostile creature that spawns under the porch. It has a silly gimmick where if a neutral or peaceful creature are near them they will effectively annoy them by running around them in circles while the creature looks unhappy.
The female co*ckroaches will sleep at night and will go to their nest to sleep in which if followed you can find eggs and male co*ckroaches.
Upon killing a female co*ckroach looting it will give you its parts and heads and rarely a trinket called "co*ckroach resemblance" (explained further down in post)
Female co*ckroaches are weak to Fresh and busting, they are resistant to slashing and sour.
Male co*ckroach
Male co*ckroaches are found in the nest and only the nest in which they are hostile creatures, they are able to fly and will only start flying on low health, otherwise they will ram you.
Male co*ckroaches will drop co*ckroach parts, co*ckroach wings, and co*ckroach horns upon death.
They also have less health then their female counterpart.
Male co*ckroaches weakness's and resistances are the same as female co*ckroaches.
Keep in mind that the co*ckroach nest is not the only place co*ckroaches spawn and sleep, and the nest will spawn 1-12 co*ckroaches meaning that if you clear out a 12 nest the nest may only respawn with 5.
Silver Fish
Silverfish behave like aphids and scarabs, the only difference is that they can climb up walls and are weak to literally every form of damage when peeped
They can be found under and on top of the porch and drop 1-2 shells upon death.
They are also very rare.
Rat (Boss)
The rat is a boss that can be found by exploring further into the underporch in which you will find a beans can ontop of a mound of food, at the bottom of the mound is a boss spawner in which you must place stinky cheese and then the boss will jump out of the beans can.
The rat has multiple attacks listed here:
Slash, deals 50 damage
Bite, deals 100 damage
Charge, deals 25 damage + knocks player far away
Tail whip, 200 damage.
Spit, 60 damage, cannot be perfect blco*ked.
co*ckroach summon, If the co*ckroaches have been alive for more than 15 seconds he will eat them and regain 100 health.
Cheese throw, he throws explosive cheese that creates temporary haze gas, you can perfect block it but the haze gas will still spawn.
The rat has a total of 3000 health.
Upon death the rat will drop these items
5-8 rat fuzz
2-3 rat teeth
2-3 tail parts
1 rats eye (rare drop)
In NG+ the rat will drop infused rat ooze, and drop infused rat weapons.
Salty love:
Salty is a very underused candy type, if you can even call it a candy, therefore I have made new weapons so salty can match up to rest of the candies

Rat whip: 5 rat tail parts, 2 rat teeth. tier 3 sword that has higher chances of stun

Silverfish armor reduces all fall damage by 90% and is obtained after killing the IBM
The Lab
The Porch lab is a series of twist and turns as you fight minor enemies like mites and spiderlings while exploring and opening doors as well as finding chunks ripped out of the lab.

Upon reaching the end of this lab you will see the communications room where you will a few data items listed below

Upon picking up Wendells final message things will start to shatter and break and the rat will appear in an unkillable state and the player now must run away and escape the rat without dying. If the player dies the lab will be restored to how the player found it and they will have to repeat the chase (death is never canon).
Upon returning to the lab after the rat tears it up while chasing you all the data from the communications room will remain as well as any interactable items however co*ckroaches are an added threat.
New Candies:
Located under the porch you will find bitter candies which are black and round and will cause the player to complain everytime they try to eat a glob of it. The lore reason for it being under the porch is because Thor and Sarah always got the candies from their grandma, but they didnt like the candies so they stuck them under the porch.
Sweet candies can be located by the plant pot on top of the window as well as found on top of the picnic bench in boxes. They replenish not only hunger but also stamina.
I'll add NG+ Sweet and Bitter items later as I dont have time to write them out and still need to finish up placeables

Im tired of listing enemies that will spawn, Every single infected enemy will spawn including nats.
IBM appears however she will wont use her main gimmick.
