What’s better than a virtual coffee chat? A real coffee chat of course! It was great to get together with the Ivey Business School at Western University Ivey Women in Asset Management 2023 cohort for a catch-up in Toronto. The group is thriving in asset management and finance internships that they secured on their own, in a large part through networking opportunities that we emphasized in the WAM program—networking like through this live coffee chat. July 1stwas another special day for Mets fans – it was Bobby Bonilla Day! That’s when the long-retired Mets player received his annual check for $1.19 million, for not playing baseball. He’s been receiving these checks since 2011 and will continue to get them through 2035. That’s more than what some of the current young star players are making.
